Return to Help file list

Smartspace allows you to uses images on your Smartspace site in a variety of ways.

Please note that this article cover attaching images to content using the database capabilities of the Smartspace system. It does not cover embedding images in the content itself through the text editor.

How to Attach An Image To Content

You can add an already uploaded image or you can upload and attach an image in the one process.

Please note that you cannot attach an image that has been uploaded into Smartspace using the text editor alone, as these images are not placed in the image database.

The image will now be attached to the article. A list of all attached images will appear below the form.

To edit any attached image, simply click on one of the listings.

When you Delete and article picture, it is only the attachment that is deleted, not the image itself.

Images will appear in all versions of the site. The Live Edit editor can size each version  appropriately.
