Organise Your Staff With Staff Rosters

Keeping staff organised is always a challenge for small businesses, especially those with a large casual and part time component.

Create Rosters and Roster Templates
Now Smart Space Traders can create unlimited Roster Templates from which to create an ongoing Staff Roster. Not only does this enable staff to view their roster online, it also enables a number of service based functions to become available.

For Staff and management, all shifts are colour coded for easy identification. The system allows for split shifts, changing of shifts and the addition of more staff to existing staff templates. It has also been set up to cater for more staff management features that are planned for the near future.

Ideal for Part Time Staff
For many sport centres, coaches and other specialists who instruct or provide other services to customers only work part time. Now, through the roster system, availability of  these staff members can be checked against their bookable resources such as courts or other facilities.

These bookings are also placed in the Staff member's work sheet so that they can see when a booking for their services has been made. It also tracks changes to the bookings.

Multiple Roles Catered For
The system also allows staff who may deliver these types of services, but at restricted times, to check for availability at only those times. For example, if you have service staff who may be required for counter service at busy times, but can perform other services (eg Coaching) at quieter times, these hours can be built into the system for online users to check and book.

Enable User Booking of Services

Users can check availablility through the What's On page. This also provides information on the service and a link through to the booking page. Error checking ensures the times that are booked fit in with the staff roster and prevents double bookings. Services using this feature may use a default booking duration which the trader sets.
